UPDATE: 11/25/06 Happy news! Denali has been adopted! He will be living with his new owner, Jamie, in Pahrump, where he joins another Belgium in his new family!


Denali is a very cute young Belgium cross gelding who was donated to Shiloh. He was born on a PMU farm and originally rescued from slaughter by the Pegasus Foundation.

The word "Denali" means "The High One" and he sure is! Denali has really filled out and is a very big boy! He is very cute and active and gets bored very easily.

Denali was formally adopted to a very loving home, but it turned out that his adoptive home was just not quite right for him. He is very young and needs a job to keep him busy and occupied.

UPDATE: 8/28/06 Denali is now available for adoption to a new loving home. He is fun to ride and LOVES attention and people. He has been being ridden English daily, but can go Western, and is wonderful and relaxed at the walk, trot, and canter in the arena. He even shows interest in jumping! He does need some more work on his ground manners, but with daily attention, he will progress quickly. He will make someone a wonderful horse! Because he is a Shiloh favorite, he is available to a special home only. He is sound and healthy. We will continue to work with Denali until the right home comes along for him.



UPDATE: 9/8/06 Denali is currently living out in the Big Pasture where he has a great time interacting with his herdmates. Due to his young age, Denali needs to have stimulation to keep him occupied and living out in the herd is perfect for him. He loves to hang out in the trees with his friends during the heat of the day.
