5/10/10 Blahnik is doing great and is now out in the Okay Corral. She is still best pals with Lovely and the two are inseperable...

7/22/09 Blahnik is staying at a healthy weight in the Rat Pack pasture. We are hoping to start re-evaluating her for possible adoption soon.

9/25/08 We are still working on Blahnik's feet to get them in shape where she can be ridden. She is a very sweet mare and we are hoping that she can find her own home eventually.

3/20/08 UPDATE: Blahnik had her hooves trimmed today, she stood great for the Farrier. Blahnik is currently a bit sore on her feet, they were is such bad shape that just trimming them is a big deal for her and caused soreness. We are giving her some pain meds and she is now feeling better.

Arrived at Shiloh 3/16/08

Blahnik is a nice mare who was abandonded at a boarding facility in Las Vegas. Her owners moved her from Utah in Nov 07, but then never ended up moving themselves. The NV Brand Inspector turned her over to Shiloh.

She appears very friendly and sweet, but thin. Her hooves are very long with overgrown heels. Since it looked like she was walking in high heels, we named her Blahnik for Manolo Blahniks, the designer shoes.

We were told Blahnik is broke to ride.
