8/13/13 Trucker is doing really well and his legs are holding up. He wanders freely around the entire ranch with his girlfriend, Una Mas. Trucker is truely a special guy!   

03/07/13 Trucker was a part of a basic horsemanship class- he is such a good boy and really enjoys the extra attention!

01/23/13  We welcomed a large Church youth group for a tour and a Basic Horsemanship Class. Everyone learned the basics of grooming. For the first time, little Wanderer Trucker was used in a class. He was excellent and stood very still enjoying the attention. Good guy, Trucker!

01/19/13 Wanderer Trucker snuck some feed from Graffiti and Melvyn. That is until Jill chased him away...

06/21/12 Trucker's new Magic Shoe- a regular shoe with another shoe welded on to support his leg. He seems to be doing well with it... He now wanders freely!

03/24/12 Little Trucker's sweet face... He is growing up... His legs are doing okay, he will be going into the vet clinic in the next week or so to have his magic shoe reset. Trucker is maturing into a very laid back and friendly young gelding...

10/13/11 Trucker's feet are doing okay- we still aren't sure just how well they are going to do as he matures. But, he is happy and living a good horse life and that's important. At this point we are after a quality of life for him- but maybe not quantity. He is growing as a weed :)

8/23/11 Trucker is growing into a very nice looking young guy! His special made shoe is working out good.

2/5/11 Please search in our daily blog to see Trucker's Vet visit on 2/2/11. He is now wearing a "Magic Shoe" which corrects his angles on his hind leg. We are hopefully optomistic that we can get him to a good quality of life. His x-rays can be seen on our blog.

This little guy was found outside of Shiloh fence by our wooden sign on the morning 1/29/11. He was obviously dumped there.

His hooves were the longest hooves I have ever seen and his one front leg and his one hind leg are both crippled and twisted. Hopefully, his hind leg will straighten naturally (because of his young age and with proper hoof care) but his front leg looks like it might have been fractured at some point. It looks like he suffers from OCD in his joints as well. We have no idea what happned to this little guy, but he is super sweet and let us lead and catch him.

We did have his hooves trimmed the morning of his rescue, they were so long that he could hardly walk on them. We have also wrapped his legs for support.
