5/10/08 Great news as Breezie is adopted to the Brashear Family of Las Vegas! Breezie, along with her foal Whirlwind, left today for their new home. Whirlwind will remain with Breezie until ahe is ready to be weaned at about 6 months of age, when she will either return to Shiloh or be adopted by her foster family. Big thanks to this family for giving little Whirlwind all the attention and love she needs and deserves!

UPDATE 4/23 - Breezie gave birth to a little filly late last night! We are told both mom and baby are doing great! Pics coming soon!
UPDATE 3/27 Breezie IS Pregnant! When Dr. Little did her rectal exam, he actually felt the foals leg! He thinks she should give birth within the next few weeks, possibly as early as next week. Another baby at Shiloh!
UPDATE: 3/19 We have noticed that in the last couple of weeks or so that Breezie has been getting quite large. We are starting to suspect that she might be pregnant. She has been getting a bit grouchy, and it appears that her bag is increasing in size. Breezie was rescued in May 2007, so her latest due date would be April 08. It is quite possible that she was bred before being dumped at auction, or even bred at the auction. We will be having the vet check her out on 3/26 to see if she is!

UPDATE: 2/1 Breezie is such a sweet and laid back little mare, she will make someone a wonderful riding horse and friend. She is great for mounting, tacking, and grooming, very easy to handle and gentle. She just needs someone to get her going and teach her some things. She is learning to move off of leg pressure.

With just a little work, Breezie will really shine in a new home. She is sound and healthy and a pretty mare!

We have put Breezie up for adoption to a new loving home. Breezie is very sweet with good manners- great for grooming, picking her feet, and tacking up. She has been sat on, but is green broke. She works in the round pen and enjoys attention. She has good manners while mounting and stands still while mounted. She is ready to start her new life with an owner of her own, she is sound and healthy.

UPDATE: 6/10/07 Breezie is currently being evaluated and will be looking for her new home very soon! She is very friendly and sweet, and super cute! She is being worked in the round pen under tack and will be ridden soon. She is sound and healthy.

Arrived at Shiloh 5/18/07

This is a super cute little mare who was rescued off of the Fallon feedlot before the slaughter trucks arrived.

She appears to be healthy and sound- just thin. She is a beautiful dark Palomino color- a really pretty mare! We do not know yet if she is broke- but she probably is. We will be evaluating her this month.
