05.04.11 Sunset was found this morning under the trees in the big pastures. It looks like she passed away peacefully and naturally of old age.

Sunset was in pretty poor shape when we got her at the auction- she was dumped after being used as a broodmare.

1/20/08 Sunset is still out in pasture, but she has developed something like a nuerological condition in her hind end. We think it is from her conformation (long back) and hard riding throughout her life. She has probaly developed some arthritis in that area and it is affecting her now, especially with the cold weather. It does not appear to be painful.

Otherwise, she has gained some weight and is happy out with ther friends.

3/09/08 Sunset has entered Shiloh's Sanctuary, where she will live out the rest of her life.

5/9/09 Sunset is happy out in her pasture. She is doing well and is happy with her friends.

7/24/09 Sunset is looking and feeling great. She loves attention.

3/27/10 Sunset is doing great out in the pasture with her best friend, Spider.

8/25/10 Sunset is doing well out in the pasture, staying happy and content.
