6/13/15 Dash is doing well, staying fat and happy out in our Big Pasture. 

10/29/13 Dash is back at Shiloh from his foster home, he looks wonderful! Fat and happy.

05/12/12 Dash is doing wonderfully in his foster home- he is well loved and cared for but- best of all he is best friends with the family's 32 year old gelding, Topper.

The family came to Shiloh after Topper's best friend passed away- he was lonely and depressed so they were looking for a horse to foster to help him. Dash was chosen and he quickly fit right in to his new family's life. Dash and Topper are now best buddies, which makes everyone happy, especially Topper. :0)

8/25/10 Dash was x-rayed on our vet day and we found navicular changes and an old fracture of his low pastern bone with bone remodeling (see x-rays). We took him into the vet clinic for some corrective shoes to try to help him and we are hoping that he may be able to be used for some light lessons as he is extremely well broke and has excellent manners. 7/23/10 Dash is a nice and friendly gelding. Once he is ready, he should make someone a very nice riding horse. He appears to be sound as he trots in his Isolation turn out. He will be getting front shoes on once his Isolation is over.

Arrived at Shiloh on 7/8/10 from the Fallon, NV feedlot.

A nice big boned gelding who is broke to ride. He was hopped on at the feedlot for a quick evaluation, and although it was said that he had not been ridden in about two years, he responded very well and was well mannered.
