8/21/11 Early in the morning, Calamity escaped her Hospice pen and made her way over to Easy Street for a visit...
...
7/21/11 Calamity is now looking for her new home. She is going well under saddle, is excellent out on trail, is sound and healthy. A very sweet and stocky mare who only has one eye. She does not always like to tie, but we just loop the lead and she stands quietly for grooming, tacking and bathing.
A really CUTE mare!

5/22/10 Calamity is doing very well and learning to canter in the arena under saddle. Although she is still learning, she is quiet and willing and has never bucked, bolted or reared. She enjoys attention and is fun to ride.

5/4/10 Calamity is doing wonderfully, she has really blossomed. She stands quietly for mounting, grooming and is super under saddle. She stands tied and stands for the Farrier. She is still learning how to canter/lope in balance, but she is quiet and gentle. She is excellent on trail, either alone or with other horses. She does get a bit wiggly when she is saddled- we are saddling her from her good eye side so that she can see what we are doing. Once she knows what it is, she stands (although we do keep her untied when saddling).

This is a super cute yellow pony- very darling and a real favorite of Shiloh's rider. Elisa.

She is sound and healthy.

2/12/10 Calamity is doing really well. She is fat and healthy now and has been hopped on. She is well mannered, but still needs to gain some confidence. She appears well broke and fun to ride. A nice willing and sound mare.

Arrived at Shiloh on 1/4/09 from the Fallon feedlot where she was purchased for $270.00.

We were told she is well broke to ride, but after injuring her eye and having it removed, she was having a hard time adjusting. She was used as a Camp/Dude String horse.

More info to come!
