Blanket time is here! We are now blanketing our older residents, special needs horses, and horses who are still gaining weight. It's very cold out at Shiloh now at night, every morning, the water buckets are iced over and the water hoses are frozen!
We NEVER have enough winter blankets and we are always looking for more! Used or new horse blanket and sheet donations are welcome!
Do you have an old patched up blanket that your horse no longer wears? That very blanket can help keep a rescued horse warm and protected this winter!
Rescue horses are not too proud to wear faded, stained, patched up, old, mismatched, or out of style blankets!
We need all sizes, from foal/mini to draft/warmblood sizes- all colors and weights! Sheets are also welcome!
Blankets can be brought out to the rescue, or dropped off at Desert Pines Equine Vet Clinic on Jones and Lone Mountain.
