UPDATE: 9/2007 Mosaic and her colt, Tonka have been adopted and moved with their family to Oregon. They are now living on green grass!



"Tonka", another colt, was born in his foster home with the Rayner Family of Pahrump, NV! Tonka's mother is Mosaic, another feedlot mare who was rescued while heavily pregnant on the feedlot. Tonka and Mosaic are happy and healthy in their foster home- what a big colt!

Thank you to the Rayner Family- we are so happy that both Mosaic and Tonka are in such a loving place- what a great start at life for Tonka!


UPDATE: 4/3/07 Mosaic is going to be Fostered by the Rayner Family of Pahrump! She will be going to their home to have her baby and enjoy some one on one attention with her foster family.




Arrived at Shiloh 3/26/07

These mares were rescued using funds donated by the Fans of Barbaro (FOBs). The FOBs raised over $13,000 in just days to save 25 heavily pregnant mares off of the Fallon Feedlot in Northern Nevada. Shiloh teamed up with other rescues and horse lovers across the country to take in these mares so that they could have their foals in safety. This rescue puts Shiloh's total at 13 pregnant mares from this feedlot rescue.
