Monticello is a very sweet and beautiful Thoroughbred gelding who was donated to Shiloh. He has very elegant movement and is ridden English. He is approx 15.3 hands tall.

Monticello has been ridden in Hunter/Jumper shows by a teeneage girl. Due to his age and some arthritis, he should not jump anymore, but he is a great horse for arena riding and pleasure. He would make a good English lesson horse. Monticello has good manners and is calm.

Monticello has been happily adopted by Cullene of Las Vegas where he joins Cody and Syracuse (both Shiloh horses) in his new home! We are so happy that this wonderful and loving family has given such a good home to three of our special horses.

UPDATE: 2/8/06 Monticello is doing so wonderfully! He continues to win ribbons with his young rider! He also loves to trail ride and has a special chicken friend who will actually sit on his saddlepad behind his rider! Too cute!
