UPDATE: 6/4/07 Happy day as little Doubloon is adopted! He will be used as a therapy horse for abused women and Children! What a great job for this sweet little horse! He joins another Shiloh horse, Tom Tom, in his new home!


Doubloon will be looking for his forever home very soon! He is gaining back his health and weight and is feeling great! He will be getting gelded before he leaves Shiloh.

Doubloon, named for his palomino coloring, was rescued along with his mother, Journey, and brother, Smoke, from the Fallon feedlot on 11/16/06.

Poor little Doubloon, scared, stressed, and hungry in the feedlot waiting for the trucks to pick him and his family up to take them to slaughter. Seven months old and scheduled to die in the slaughterhouse. Rescued the morning of the double decker trucks arrival.

Now he is safe at Shiloh.
