UPDATE: 4/6/07 Happy news as Dawson's adoption is pending!

UPDATE: 4/07 Dawson is doing great. He has gained his weight back and is looking wonderful. When he first arrived from the feedlot he was lame, sore, and nervous. Now he is going sound, is interested, and is settling down while being ridden. Mainly he needs to learn that he can now relax and that he will not be made to run every time he is ridden. Life is not a rodeo for Dawson anymore!

Dawson is a very sweet and friendly gelding was rescued from the Fallon feedlot with the help of The Fans of Barbaro (FOBs).

He appears to be very stout and strong and will be evaluated for possible future adoption.

We were told that Dawson was used as a high school rodoe barrel and pole horse. He should be very well broke.
