Chesapeake is a 23 year old TB mare who was rescued from slaughter in Utah. She was Shiloh's second rescue. She was extremely thin and malnourished upon her arrival at Shiloh, but she quickly gained back her weight and health. Chesapeake does well with other horses and LOVES to eat!



UPDATE: 8/22/05 Chesapeake is available for adoption again, her new owner needed to return her to Shiloh due to family issues. (It is Shiloh's policy to take back adopted horses at any time if the new owners can no longer care for them for any reason.)

Chesapeake is looking for a safe and loving home. She will do best with an experienced rider as she has wonderful spirit for her age. She is safe, healthy, and sound. Chessy can be ridden either english or western, in the arenas or trail. We believe that Chessy has jumped in the past. She is a very beautiful horse who needs a great home.

UPDATE: 8/28/05 Chesapeake has been happily adopted to Jaime and Rosie of Las Vegas! She joins another Shiloh horse, Cherokee, in her new home!

UPDATE: 10/14/05 Chessy has been joined by yet another Shiloh horse, Wind, in her new family. Chessy has become the favorite riding horse of Rosa and Jaime's son.
