UPDATE: 7/28/07 Charm, along with Blackberry, has moved on to her new home!
Charm running loose on 6/10/07! Her corral door was open and she went off exploring! She will be allowed to wander for a few days as we set up our new corral area. She had a wonderful time getting all the other Wanderers riled up!
Charm on 5/18/07. Charm's adoption is pending to Norma of Las Vegas!
We have decided to put Charm up for adoption to a new home- we feel she will progress quicker with more one on one attention. Charm is a healthy young mare with a beautiful Palomino coloring. She is still afraid of human contact, but with time and love, she will make someone a great little horse. She is a wonderful project horse who is looking for a loving home.
Charm is a shy young filly who was rescued off of the Fallon feedlot with the help Shiloh's Slaughter Fund and Hillcrest Academy in Las Vegas. The fourth graders raised money to save slaughter bound horses, and Shiloh used the funds to purchase Charm, Una, and Ghost.
UPDATE: 3/3/07 Charm is still in isolation. She is doing great though, seems healthy. She is getting ready for her makeover (mane clean up, hooves trimmed, etc...) Charm is still very afraid of contact, but we try to spend time with her everyday to help her overcome her fear. She will come around.
Charm will make someone a special horse when she is ready.
