Star is available to an experienced home only. With some time and patience, she could make a nice horse for someone for serve as a companion horse. Sound and Healthy.

Star, one of the mares rescued off of the feedlot while heavily pregnant, gave birth to a little colt early this morning! Both mother and baby are doing great, foal is up and nursing.

We have named the little colt, Nitro (adopted in 2008). He is pitch black with a beautiful white blaze!


These mares were rescued using funds donated by the Fans of Barbaro (FOBs). The FOBs raised over $13,000 in just days to save 25 heavily pregnant mares off of the Fallon Feedlot in Northern Nevada. Shiloh teamed up with other rescues and horse lovers across the country to take in these mares so that they could have their foals in safety. This rescue puts Shiloh's total at 13 pregnant mares from this feedlot rescue.
