6/20/11 Happy news as Slash was adopted and joins Shiloh Horse, Chocolate Moose, in his new family!

05.27.11 Sabine working with Slash. This is such a neat gelding- he just needs more time to get over some of his anxieties under saddle but he is really coming along. He is such a sweet guy, not a mean bone in his body and once he is ready, he should make someone a very nice riding horse.

04.25.11 Sabine rode Slash- he did great and just needs a few weeks of quiet riding for him to gain confidence. He is well broke but gets anxious, so we just slowed it down and he will be doing lots of work under saddle at the walk, learning to relax and enjoy a rider...

04.12.11  Slash, the horse who was found in the desert a few weeks ago, is doing really well. He has settled in and is now enjoying the attention he is getting. We have begun working him in the round pen and we will tack him up this week for his evaluation. This is a really cute gelding, very level headed, sound and healthy.

Slash was found wandering in the desert down the road from Shiloh on 3/27/11. Shiloh was called by a concerned neighbor who alerted us.

Slash is very gentle and kind. He was found with shoes on al four feet, so we know he is broke to ride. In fact, one of our guys hopped on him and rode him down the road to our waiting trailer.
