5/27/11 Happy news as Lobo was adopted today!

2/8/11 Lobo is doing really well, he is sound and healthy and very willing. A well mannered young gelding with good manners both on the ground and under saddle. He ties, stands for the farrier and stands for tacking, hosing and grooming. He is currently working at the walk and trot and beginning his cantering under saddle work. This is  avery nice guy who is ready to go to his new home and furture. 

12/7/10 Lobo is now looking for his new home! He is sound and healthy and started under saddle (see video below). He is well mannered and a sweetheart. He has good ground manners and stands for the Farrier. He is only green broke, so needs an experienced rider. We will continue to work with him until his home comes along. A very cute paint gelding who deserves a new life and future! 

6/27/10 Lobo is nice and fat and happy in his pasture where we are giving his leg time to calcify and fuse before we begin evaluating him for possible adoption in the future.

4/28/10 Lobo is doing great and we will begin an adoption evaluation on him very soon. He is friendly and enjoys attention and playing with other horses.

4/5/10 Lobo has been gelded (which went very well) and his one foot has been x-rayed (it was a bit deformed). His x-ray showed an old injury (most likely an old soft tissue injury before he came to Shiloh), his lower pastern bones should fuse naturally which will stabilaize his leg. He is actually going sound and moving very well. We used his xrays to trim his hoof correctly which made a huge difference for him. We will begin evalauting him very soon for adoption. He is a friendly and sweet guy who loves to play with other horses.

3/22/10 Lobo will be gelded on March 31st. He is gaining weight and looking good. Once he is gelded, he will begin his adoption evaluation.

Arrived at Shiloh on 2/4/10 from the Fallon feedlot where he was saved for $260.00.

Looks to be healthy, just stressed at the time of his rescue.
