7/28/12 Pippi is doing great and is now very good out on trail. She will continue to be worked with until her adoption. She is sound and healthy, stands for grooming, bathing and tacking. She is good for the farrier as well. She is well mannered and going in a hackamore and is extremely handy! A neat little mare!

5/18/12 Pippi is now looking for her new home! She is doing really well under saddlea nd has good manners in both the arena and out on trail. Sound and healthy, a nice little mare!

6/4/10 Pippi gave birth to a healthy colt, Locksley, two weeks ago (see Locksley's page). Pippi is a wonderful mother and is looking and feeling great. 

3/2/10 Pippi is doing very well. Those of you who follow our blog know that she has been confirmed by our vet as being pregnant and she should foal in May or June. So, even though she was heading to slaughter, she was allowed to breed back. How ridiculous. Pippi's new foal will be born in safety at Shiloh.

Arrived at Shiloh on 12/29/09 from the Fallon, NV feedlot where she and her young colt were saved for $250.00.

Pippi Lonstocking, named for he long stockings on her legs, is part Curly Horse. She is friendly and we were told she is broke to ride.
