Big Vacation Village

Many horses live in Big Vacation Village, one of Shiloh's pastures. Many of the horses in BVV are Sanctuary Horses, or horses in Rehab who are out gaining weight and relaxing before they are evaluated for adoption. BVV is a quieter pasture, many of our Seniors live here.

Pasture horses, as are all horses at Shiloh, are given free-choice grass mix hay which allows them to "graze" throughout the day. This is much healthier for horses than regulated feedings. Pasture horses are allowed to interact with other horses and enjoy "just being a horse".
