What you need to know before you come out to Shiloh

VISITORS: Visitors are welcome between 8am and 1pm daily, gates close at 1pm. Please feel free to wander through the ranch and see the horses. However, the ranch rules must be followed.

VOLUNTEERS: We do ask that people wishing to volunteer (actually get hands on with the horses) for the first time, please email or call us to schedule your first visit. That way the Staff can make sure that first timers will be coming out on a day that we will be at the ranch (sometimes we have a vet appointment or auction that takes us away from the ranch for the day). After a volunteer has come out once, then they are free to show up any day during our business hours (gates close at 1pm). NOTE: we highly recommend volunteers take the basic horsemanship class before they start to volunteer.

Don't forget- the mascots LOVE carrots too! Children of all ages are welcome, but must be supervised by an adult. It's never too early to learn about animals!

 Volunteer's duties can include: filling water buckets, bathing or grooming horses, turning out horses, feeding horses,handling the horses with special needs, maintenance work on the ranch, setting up corrals,and just about anything else that needs to get done!

No Experience is necessary.
