A bedraggled looking Florecita! She has two public appearances next week- ugh!

02/09/13 This afternoon's Design and Wine Event in Las Vegas was a resounding success! Our hardworking volunteers and Shiloh Mini Ambassadors Florecita and Mojo were a hit. Florecita did a great job!!!

11.19.12 Robin worked with Florecita to get her ready for her upcoming appearance at the Anthem Pet Club meeting on December 19th. Flora will be "discussing" her new book with her Anthem fans. "Florecita, Proud to be a Rescue Horse" is available at Shiloh, in our online web store or through amazon.com.
Flora was a bit rusty and threw a few temper tantrums...
But eventually she gave up the Diva act and got with the program...
One book and it has already gone to her head! :0)

03/09/12 Good news for Florecita, her mom Mamacita will be staying at Shiloh. She was scheduled to go back to her original home, but thanks to Donna, she will live her life with her daugher at Shiloh, and we are happy too.

8/19/11 Florecita and Mamacita had some fun in the big arena today!

07.28.11 After a run around training session in the round pin (see video) Florecita got her butt cleaned. Nothing wrong with that treat !!!

06.23.11 Mom Whitey and Florecita spent time in the turn out this morning (see video below). In photos, it's difficult to see just how small she really is. She doesn't even reach up to my knees...

06.15.11 This little girl came to Shiloh after her previous owner was unable to continue needed vet care on her. She originally was brought into the vet clinic by her owner in an almost comatose state with a meconium impaction (Meconium is the first "manure" that is passed by a foal after birth). She was treated and eventually went home but failed to thrive. Her owner needed to place her into a new home quickly or she was to be euthanised. So, we had her brought back into the clinic where she was treated for the past three days and today she arrived at Shiloh. Her previous owner loaned us the mare as well until the filly can be weaned, when the mother will then return back to her owner.
