9/26/08 Wonderful news as Noche is very quickly adopted by Shiloh Volunteer, Laurie of Las Vegas! Her husband Alan surprised her with Noche's adoption! Noche is currently boarded at Shiloh Ranch.

9/25/08 Noche is looking for her new home! This is one really neat horse! She is gentle and kind, sound and healthy, and very easy to handle. A perfect "Husband Horse", a perfect first horse for someone. Noche ties for grooming and bathing and she trailers. Noche needs a little work with holding up her hind feet for the Farrier, but she is not mean in any way.

UPDATE: 9/9/08 We have named her "Noche" for the Spanish word meaning Night. She is extremely gentle and easy to handle. She ties, looves grooming and bathing. Her feet are in pretty bad shape, so we will need to have the Farrier work on her to get them back to normal, otherwise, she is doing great!

This Percheron Mare is very big, and very gentle. She is approx. 18 years old. We rescued her for $350 from the New Holland Sale in PA in July 2008.
