8/22/10 Super happy news as Larceny is adopted to Jennifer of CA. He joins another former Shiloh Horse, Buck (now named Oscar), in his new family. Happy trails, Lars!

8/19/10 Lars is doing great, healthy, fat and sound. He is looking for a pleasure riding home where he can be spoiled and get lots of attention. He is good on trail. He is currently hanging out in a pasture and being worked weekly as he waits for the right home to come along.



5/30/10 Lars is now looking for a new home. Due to old racing injuries (which have now healed and bones fused) he is moving sound and still great for trail and pleasure riding. No jumping or hard riding, but Lars is quiet and slow and will make someone a very nice riding companion. He is stout and strong and would make a good Husband type horse. He gets along with all horses, ties and trailers. Stands for the Farrier, wears front shoes.

5/19/10 Larceny has returned to Shiloh after his adoptive family had to relocate out of state due to financial difficulties. Lars was boarded at Shiloh for the past few months and is looking wonderful and is ready to be re-evaluated for re-adoption. He is such a nice gelding and will make someone a wonderful pleasure riding horse. He is moving sound.

7/11/09 Happy news as Lars is adopted by ede and Marc of Sandy Valley! A great pleasure riding home for this sweet gelding.

9/1/08 We have decided to turn Lars back out into pasture for a few months to see if his old racing injury will calcify more to keep him more comfortable for riding.

Larceny walking around the rescue on 7/14/08.

He would be excellent as a pleasure horse, on trail, or Dressage, but no jumping. He does have a healed fracture/bone chip in his one fetlock from his racing days, but he is sound and is currently going under saddle. He is very level headed, has excellent manners on trail, in fact he is currently being ridden all over the ranch, in and out of trees, etc. He stands quietly for grooming and tacking, he ties, and stands for the Farrier. He is a very friendly gelding and really will make someone a wonderful horse. Larceny is a very nice looking and handsome gelding.

5/19/08 Rescued from Mike's Auction in California.We named him Larceny for obvious reasons in relation to the events that happened during the auction (Shiloh's truck was broken into in the auction parking lot and all our money and belongings were stolen). Larceny is a big bay Thoroughbred.

We are currently re-running Larceny's racing tattoo.
