5/13/09 Happy news as Mancado is adopted by the Evers Family of Ely, NV! He joins another Shiloh Horse, Seven in his new home! A great home for this nice gelding. 


5/9/09 Mancado is being worked and he is just a wonderful gelding. he is being used for some lessons and trail riding at Shiloh. He is  anice big healthy horse, perfect for a man as a husband horse. He is very friendly, gentle, and willing. Loves attention.

4/22/09 Mancado has returned to Shiloh due to a job loss in his adoptive home. He is being re-evaluated for adoption. Thank you to the Wells Family for taking such good care of him!

4/6/08 Mancado has been adopted by the Well's Family! A very nice family for this sweet gelding!

3/20/08 Mancado is looking for his new home. He is a large gelding, still a little thin, but quickly filling out. He is friendly and loves attention and people. He has great manners under saddle. He was a bit stiff as we began riding him, but he is really limbering up and is going sounder everyday. Mancado walks, trots, and canters under saddle.

Mancado will make a great man's horse because of his size.

3/6/08 Mancado is doing great, he has gained alot of weight and is feeling good. We have started to work with him to evaluate him for possible adoption. He has good manners, is easy going, and very friendly. We are going to have front shoes put back on him as we ride and work with him more.

Arrived at Shiloh 2/12/08

Mancado is a very friendly big Thoroughbred gelding who came to Shiloh off of the Fallon, NV feedlot. He was scheduled to be shipped to slaughter, so we said we would take him. Mancado was saved with funds donated by The Fans of Barbaro, a group of people dedicated to helping horses in Barbaro's name.

He does not have a racing tattoo.
