About Georgia

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Horse
  • Current Age: 27 Years 8 Months (best estimate)

07/25/12 Great news as Georgia was adopted to her new home this afternoon! Georgia and her new owner have lots of great trail rides ahead!

7/11/12 Georgia is now officially looking for her new home. This is a kind older mare who is servicably sound due to what is most likely arthritis. She would be great as a "husband" horse, trial riding buddy, light pleasure riding. She has good ground manners and is really getting over her bit of a stubborn streak under saddle. We will continue to work with Georgia until the right home comes along.

6/19/12 Georgia returned to Shiloh last week after major changes in her adoptive home. She was well cared for and loved and returned to us in excellent condition. We will be re-evaluating her for possible re-homing or utilization in our Trail/Lesson program. More info to come!

UPDATE: 5/5/07 Happy news as Georgia is adopted to a new loving home! She joins her new family in Laughlin, NV where she will spend her days being spoiled and loved and wandering along the Colorado River!

Georgia was rescued from slaughter in Cedar City. She is very sweet and has wonderful palomino and white pinto coloring.

Georgia spent the last two years with her adoptive family, but she recently returned due to financial problems.

Georgia is sweet, sound, calm, and healthy. She is good for the shoer, ties, and trailers. Georgia is great for women and children and is great on trail and in the arena. She will make a wonderful light riding horse. Georgia would make a wonderful first horse.
