4/5/08 Happy news as Rex finds his new home! He will remain at Shiloh until the beginning of May, then off to his new family!


Rex under saddle on 3/20/08. We have started his evaluation. He is very quiet and accepts the rider's leg. More info and videos to come!

Rex is looking for his new home. He has gained most of his weight back and is sound. He likes attention, is quiet, and gets along with other horses. Rex is ready to go in any direction and any discipline.

End of Jan, 2008, we had blood drawn on Rex to see if there was a reason that he is not gaining weight as quickly as we would like. Everything came back normal. His teeth are in good shape as well. It's possible that he had some sort of low level infection when he first arrived at Shiloh from the track and is just now getting over it. He is eating all day and has a great appetite, so hopefully he will start to fill out soon!



He is still very thin, but gaining weight slowly.

Rex's registered name is "Wonderful Mom's Son", he was foaled in Kentucky on April 2, 2001. He is descended from Mr. Prospector, Rexson, Bold Ruler, and his sire is Cryptoclearance. He raced 43 times, earning $126,880.00.
