Adoption Questionaire

Pawnee is very cute, stout, and sound. She is available to an experienced home only, with time and patience, she can make somone a nice horse, or serve as a companion horse.

UPDATE: 11/6/07 Pawnee is back at Shiloh, her baby, Harlee, was adopted by her foster family! Pawnee looks wonderful!

Another feedlot foal is born! On April 23rd 2007, in her foster home with her foster family watching over her. This is the first foal to be born in foster care.

Pawnee, now called Mollee by her foster family, another feedlot mare, gave birth to a healthy little filly, named "Harlee"! Harlee is healthy and alert and Pawnee looks like she is also an excellent mother! We know that Harlee will be very loved by her family. Little Harlee looks just like her mom!

The fostering situtation is really working out well for these mares- they all seem to be doing better with the one on one attention they are receiving from their families. The foals will only benefit from this caring and love- we could not be happier with our foster familes! There are four more mares in foster care ready to foal any minute!

Arrived at Shiloh 3/26/07

These mares were rescued using funds donated by the Fans of Barbaro (FOBs). The FOBs raised over $13,000 in just days to save 25 heavily pregnant mares off of the Fallon Feedlot in Northern Nevada. Shiloh teamed up with other rescues and horse lovers across the country to take in these mares so that they could have their foals in safety. This rescue puts Shiloh's total at 13 pregnant mares from this feedlot rescue
