5/7/09 Happy news as Philly is adopted by Tony and Patty of Las Vegas! A great match for this nice gelding.

5/1/09 Philly has returned from a prospective adoptive home (through no fault of his own) and is looking for his new job and future. He has been ridden out on trail and in the arena. He can go either english or western and loves attention. Philly does have an old set bone ship in his knee from his racing days, so will do best in a pleasure or trail riding home, but should not be jumped. A super nice big young gelding.

10/7/08 We have started Philly's adoption evaluation- this is one very steady and willing young gelding. He is super friendly, has no vices, loves to be ridden, and gets along with other horses. He ties, trailers, and stands for the farrier and vet.

Philly does have a bone chip in his knee from his days on the track- BUT he is going sound. We do have x-rays on file at Desert Pines. He will make an awesome pleasure, trail, or lower level Dressage horse. He has three nice gaits with a big stride.

He is walking, trotting, and cantering under saddle. He is quiet and level headed.

Rescued from slaughter at New Holland, PA. Arrived at Shiloh 12/15/07.

This is a very nice looking gelding. He needs some rehab time as he has an injured area above his knee. He was dumped at the auction right off the Philly Park racetrack.
