SCROLL DOWN TO OUR "MORE ABOUT COOPER" SECTION TO SEE HIS LATEST UNDER SADDLE VIDEO, NOVEMBER 18, 2011.

11/20/11 Jill rode Cooper. She is working on his under saddle video and should have it up in a day or so. This is a great gelding! Easy, well mannered and fun to ride.

11/19/11 Cooper is back from his adoptive home (for personal and financial reasons) and is now looking for another home. Cooper is sound, healthy and very well mannered. He is EXCELLENT out on trail and in the arena. He can go either english or western. Easy to walk, trot and canter. Cooper competed in multiple ACTHA group rides with his prior adopter. He ties, trailers, stands for the farrier and stands for grooming, tacking and mounting. A very kind and gentle hearted gelding who will make an excellent match for a first time horse owner or someone who is getting back into riding and is a bit timid. Just a wonderful easy horse.

6/11/08 Cooper is now looking for his new home! This is a very steady and calm young gelding, extremely friendly and willing. He is currently being ridden English, but really can go either Western or English. He is walking, trotting, and cantering under saddle, both directions. He does have a healed bone chip in his knee from his racing days, so no jumping. Is sound and healthy, was given about 4 months off in pasture after his rescue. Perfect for a pleasure riding horse, trail, whatever!

Rescued from slaughter at New Holland, PA. Arrived at Shiloh 12/15/07.

Cooper is a sweet gelding. We had not noticed him at the auction, but saw him at the last minute when he came up to go into the sale ring. We ran over to bid on him, but the auctioneer did not see us in time, so we missed out. The gelding was bought by the Killer buyer for $250, we immediately bought him directly from the killer for $350.00. His knee was so sore at the auction that he was limping very badly. He had been dumped directly from the racetrack.

We are running his tattoo for more info. He is doing very well now, his knee is feeling much better. He will be rehabbed for possible adoption in the future.
