1/10/11 Happy news as Carefree has found her new home!

11/3/10 Carefree is now looking for a new home. She is still a bit thin but gaining and is working quietly under saddle. She will make a great light riding/pleasure riding horse. She is great on trail and in the arena, stands for the Farrier (wears front shoes), ties and stands for tacking, grooming, etc. A sweet natured mare who deserves someone who will enjoy her and spoil her!  

9/6/10 Carefree is now working under saddle and is well broke, just a bit rusty. She goes at the walk, trot and canter and has good manners. We will continue to work with her and get her ready for adoption. She has good ground manners, stands tied and stands for the farrier. 

8/20/10 Carefree is sound and has nice manners. We have begun to evaluate her for adoption to a new home. She is still putting on weight. She has been hopped on and she was well behaved and quiet. Videos coming soon! 

Arrived from the Fallon Feedlot on 6/18/10.

A nice big Thoroughbred mare, very friendly and appears sound and healthy. More info to come...

She does have a faded racing tattoo which I cannot make out. We named her Carefree because we were in Carefree, AZ the day before the horses arrived at Shiloh from the feedlot.
