9/9/09 happy news as Woody is adopted to Nicole of Las vegas!

8/2/09 Woody has been brought back in from the pastures. We had given him a few months out in the pasture to relax, gain some weight and get over some minor lameness issues that had been caused by his poor hoof care and the lack other basic care from before his rescue. He is now looking and feeling great and is ready to start his official adoption evaluation. We are treating some Harbonema by his one eye, but other than that he is doing excellent. He is going sound and is up to date. I will be posting some videos soon of him under saddle. Woody craves attention and really needs a home of his own where he gets everything he deserves. He goes either English or Western and he will continue to be worked under saddle until he finds his new home.

3/2/09 Woody had his hooves trimmed today (they were in horrible shape at the time of his rescue) and now has shoes on the front.

Arrived at Shiloh 2/21/09, rescued from the Fallon, NV auction.

Woody is a very nice big gelding who was used on a ranch. We were told that he also has been ridden English, done some jumping and some Dressage. He is currently going sound and will make someone a great riding horse.

Woody needs to gain some weight and have some work done on his feet.
