8/17/10 Napa has left for her new home and life and she joins another Shiloh Horse, Cocktail, in her new family.

8/11/10 Good news today as Napa now has an adoption pending!

4/22/10 We are now working Napa on a regular basis and she will be looking for a new home very soon!

3/27/10 Napa is doing well, fat and looking good. Her wounds on her legs (she cut her leg on the feed cart's hitch at feeding time) have healed and we are going to be starting her adoption evaluation this next month. She is moving sound and likes attention.

8/4/09 Napa has returned to Shiloh due to financial reasons in her home. She was well loved and her family misses her. She looks great and we will be re-evaluating her for re-adoption. More info to come!

Info from 2005: Napa is a very sweet big 5 year old Thoroughbred mare who came to Shiloh by way of Angel Acres Horse Rescue Haven in Pennsylvannia. She arrived, with Aiken, in May of 2005.


We will be researching her race record. She has been started under saddle and does know the basics. She will be rehabilitated and will become available for adoption to a new home.

Napa is recovering very well from stepping on a nail. She has been x-rayed and there is no serious or permanent damage and she should make a perfect recovery. We will keep her story updated.

Update: 7/15/05 Napa has been very happily adopted by Andrea of Las Vegas! She joins another Shiloh horse, Pinon in her new home.
