06/21/12 Nike is doing very well in Okay Corral with his friends.

04.17.12 We moved the three mares- Breeze, Nike (middle) and Ochocinco- out into Okay Corral from the Duplex. Since they are all at a healthy weight, we decided they needed to move out into a larger area...

03.19.12 Nike is now in the Duplex. She was ridden by our new rider Bonnie today.

2/4/12 Nike is back at Shiloh after spending 30 days at the trainers. She is doing great and now stands tied and stands still for mounting. She needs an experienced rider to bring out her full potential. She is a nice and friendly mare.

11/24/11 Nike is currently in training with a local Sandy Valley trainer to help her get over her mounting issues. Once we feel she is ready, we will post a video of her and push for her adoption.

8/19/11 Nike is staying fat and happy in the Okay Corral.

11/30/10 Nike is now looking for her new home and is working under saddle. She likes to move when being mounted but we are working on that. Otherwise she is a fun mare to ride with a fun canter. We are also starting her over small cross rails, which she seems to enjoy. A nice mare who will do best with a confident rider. She is moving sound, her crack is all grown out. She is wearing shoes on the front only and stands for the Farrier.

4/22/10 Nike is doing well, we are still allowing her quarter crack in her hoof time to grow out. She is currently out in one of our pastures.

9/27/09 Nike was returned to Shiloh from her adoptive home. Although she is at a healthy weight overall upon her return, her hooves have not been cared for properly. She was returned with one shoe on one overgrown foot , the other front foot was all torn up and chipped. She has an old wound on her bulb of her heel which radiates down into her hoof. We will be re-evaluating her for another adoption.

Nike is a beautiful mare who was rescued off of the Fallon, NV feedlot before the slaughter trucks arrived. She was saved with donations by the FOBs. She is very sweet and has great manners.

Nike was named for the "swoosh" on her forehead.
