Wildfire is available to an experienced home only. With some time and patience, she could make a nice horse for someone for serve as a companion horse. Sound and Healthy. Wildfire will take carrots from hand, allow you to pet her head, neck, and back, but is not halterbroke.

Arrived at Shiloh on 3/25/07

This is a pregnant mare who was rescued along with 24 other pregnant mares from the Fallon Feedlot with the help of The Fans of Barbaro, who together donated more than $13,000 to save these mares.

13 of the 25 mares came to Shiloh to have their foals in safety. The remaining mares were placed throughout the United States with other rescue organizations.

UPDATE: 5/17/07 Wildfire had her foal! He is a colt who has been named "Spitfire" by his Foster Family! Both Spitfire and Wildfire are doing well!


UPDATE: 11/6/07 Wildfire has returned to Shiloh, her baby, Spitfire was adopted by the Quinn Family of Las Vegas! Wildfire looks great!
