12.28.11 Rabbit headed off to his new home, here Felipe leads him to the waiting trailer...

12/10/11 Happy news as Rabbit was adopted to his new home!

SCROLL  DOWN TO WATCH RABBIT'S UNDER SADDLE VIDEO FILMED 10/8/11

10/10/11 Rabbit is very fun to ride and a great learner. He is now accepting the work in the arena and learning to bend and give to contact. He walsk, trots and canters, is sound and healthy. A great gelding! Lots of fun with smooth gaits.

10.06.11 Jill worked with Rabbit today- he is a big gelding who will make someone a really nice riding horse. He is more used to being ridden western and out on trail, but I am working on his arena work as well. We should have some under saddle video of him sometime this weekend...

8/28/11 Rabbit is offically looking for his new home. He goes either english or western and walks, trots and canters. He is excellent out on trail. Ties and stands for the farrier (currently wears shoes on the front). Sound and healthy, with good manners, a nice big friendly gelding!

8/20/11 Sabine was working with Rabbit today. Rabbit will be looking for his new home very soon and I am currently working on his under saddle video. He is sound, healthy and fun to ride! (One note, Rabbit has kicked out at other horses if they crowd up behind him on trail. He gets along with other horses in the arena and turn out, he is not aggressive in any way. We have never witnessed this but his former adoptive home mentioned it to us.)

7/6/11 Rabbit is looking great. We are evaluating him for re-adoption. He is supposed to be wonderful out on trail...

6/20/11 Rabbit was returned to us from his adoption home. At Shiloh we understand that Life happens when you are making other plans, so Shiloh Horses are always welcomed back to Shiloh. We will be re-evaluating Rabbit for re-adoption.

UPDATE: 2/5/08 We have started evaluating Rabbit for a new home. He is a very sweet gelding, willing and good mannered. He is sound and healthy, but still a little thin. Will make someonbe a great riding horse and friend.

UPDATE: 11/11/07 We have named this sweet gelding Rabbit after his two large buck teeth that he has. His teeth are very deformed, making it hard to age him.

Rescued from slaughter on 11/3/07 for $200.00.

This is a very nice young gelding who appears to be sound and healthy.

More info to come!
