UPDATE: 2/1 Kestrel has gained tons of weight and is feeling great! She is sound and healthy, but still a little thin. She is looking for a home of her own where she can get all the attention she deserves.

She is "track broke", and needs some time learning more about what riding i sall about. She is very sweet though and willing and loves attention. Her short ears make her very unique!

Kestrel is a beautiful off the track Thoroughbred mare who arrived at Shiloh on 8/3/07. She arrived from the Finger Lakes racetrack and the Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program. Her racing days were over and she was in danger of being shipped to the killer buyer.

Kestrel's reg name is "Sumannonymoushoss". Her sire is Cape Town, her dam Dr. Distinctive. She is related to Mr. Prospector on both sides of her pedigree. She raced 12 times, earning $3,108.00
