Quarterhorse : : Male
10/23/11 Happy Horse has been moved to the Big Pasture and seem to be setteling in nice in the new home.
8/25/10 We had HH x-rayed and did find ringbone- but the good news is that it is in a good spot for fusing (see x-rays). If it does fuse naturally, it will stabilaize his joint and he actually should be able to move sound enough to have a pleasure riding home. We did have the joint injected to help with the pain and will lightly work and walk him to speed up any fusing. With some time, he may be able to move on to a new home... More info to come!
Arrived at Shiloh on 8/13/10 from the Fallon feedlot.
We we were told this guy has done it all, poles, barrels, cattle, etc. He is supposed to be great out on trail and should make an excellent family, first or husband horse. We were told that he does have some ringbone, but that he is still servicably sound for pleasure riding. We will know more once we hop on him to evaluate him.
We have named him Happy Horse after his HH on his brand.
